The V International conference for students and young researchers
”Sociology and Contemporary Social Transformations”
The Conference will be held 29-30 November 2012 at the Sociology Faculty, National T.Shevchenko University of Kyiv (4d Glushkova Ave., Kyiv, Ukraine)
Organizational committee invites students and young researchers to take part at the conference and to present the papers within the follow general topics:
• Contemporary Theoretical Approaches towards Social Transformation: Global and Local Measuring
• Classical Sociological Traditions in Research of Social Changes
• Social Transformations in Post-Socialistic Countries (in Economic, Political, and Cultural Areas)
• Culture Field and Social Changes
• Tendencies of Changes in Contemporary Communication Practices
• Social Transformations: Chances and Risks for Different Social Groups
• Research Approaches and Methods for Social Transformation study
• Application of Qualitative and Quantitative Strategies for Research of Social Transformations
Work languages are Ukrainian, Russian, English.
Length for presentation – not more than 10 min.
The participants provide themselves of travel, settling and food expenses.
Registration fee - equivalent to 10 USD
